Subaru has confirmed to us that Tribeca production at the Lafayette, Indiana plant will stop in January 2014. This plant also produces the Subaru Legacy and the Subaru Outback, as well as the Toyota Camry as part of a joint venture between Toyota and Subaru. A Subaru spokesperson said that the Tribeca’s death is due to the fact that it’s eight years old and has reached the end of its product life cycle. We think the paltry sales figures probably play a strong role, too.

Subaru Tribeca Production to End in January 2014
Subaru has confirmed to us that Tribeca production at the Lafayette, Indiana plant will stop in January 2014. The Subaru representative also confirmed that a new three-row
crossover from Subaru would be coming in the future. Automotive News previously reported that a new Subaru Tribeca is already under development and will arrive within three year's time.
