But will Subaru be making major styling changes to the next-generation Outback? It’s been seen testing and various spy shots have captured the new 2015 Outback from various angles.

Expect 2015 Subaru Outback to come with three key features

The all-new 2015 Subaru Outback will make its global debut at the New York International Auto Show 2014 in April. Will Subaru make major changes?

Outback will continue with its high profile ride, and taller stance that makes the wagon easy to get in and out of. The new 2015 Outback will likely get a new upgraded interior with new soft-touch materials. But don’t look for wholesale changes to the Outback. Subaru will stick with got them to the dance in the first place.
Subaru will stay with the core values that have made the Outback a success. The popular wagon started with the core values of good visibility, cargo carrying ability and versatility. It has remained true to those core values with all their multi-use vehicles, and they won’t be changing now with the new-generation Outback.
The secret to Subaru’s success has been for them to stick to the basics, and then keep improving on them every year and with every new generation. Another core value is staying with their excellent Symmetrical all-wheel-drive that comes in every Subaru vehicle except for the two-door BRZ sports car.
All 2015 Outback trim levels will likely be equipped with a newly refined version of the Active Torque Split version of Symmetrical AWD. An electronically managed continuously variable transfer clutch actively controls torque distribution in response to driving conditions and wheel slippage. The system can send additional torque to the rear wheels either pro-actively or in response to slippage at the front wheels. Outback will continue to be an ideal multi-use vehicle for recreational use for those with adventurous spirits.

The newest Subaru wagon will also be getting the newly-tuned Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission. If it’s like the 2015 Legacy, Subaru will likely drop the six-speed manual gearbox and five-speed adaptive electronic automatic transmission in favor of the new CVT. This will improve the current 30/24 highway/city fuel mileage considerably. Look for the new Outback to also get 36 mpg highway with the 2.5i model.
Both the 2.5-liter Boxer four-cylinder and the 3.6-liter six-cylinder will continue on the new Outback multi-use vehicle. Both will be mated to the Lineartronic CVT for improved fuel-mileage. Subaru bumped up the 2.5-liter four 2 hp and Outback should see the same increase. The wagon will still come in base 2.5i, Premium and Limited trim models.
You can look for 2015 Outback to come with new safety technologies like the new-generation Subaru EyeSight Safety system. It will integrate Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Vehicle Lane Departure Warning. This advanced safety system uses Subaru-developed stereo camera technology that was rated highest in front crash prevention system by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
What can we expect to see when Subaru officially unveils the new-generation 2015 Outback at the New York International Auto Show 2014 in April? Expect updated front end styling, a new upgraded interior and a new CVT automatic transmission that will give the 2015 Subaru Outback wagon improved fuel mileage.

The all-wheel-drive Impreza gives you a lot for its affordable price. Both sedan and hatchback versions are well-rounded packages, with nimble handling and an impressively compliant, absorbent ride that’s among the best in its class. Fuel economy is also commendable for an AWD car. And the Impreza is easy to live with, thanks to a roomy interior, spacious rear seat, simple controls, and refreshingly good visibility. Another great example of projection mapping by Subaru. They unveiled the New Forester by having robotic arms assemble the drive train on stage and thrust it into the body of the vehicle, then proceeded to immerse you in a surreal world of animation. CHECK OUT THIS AWESOME VIDEO!

2015 Subaru Legacy - LEAKED IMAGES

 ALL NEW 2015 SUBARU LEGACY

 

 

It only took Subaru a couple of months after displaying the Legacy Concept at the 2013 LA Auto Show in late November to tease and announce the world premiere of the production version of the mid-size sedan that will officially break cover at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show on February 6. 

 

As you may suspect, the Japanese automaker didn't reveal much about the car, but if you insist on reading the press blurb, here it is:
"The all-new Legacy is a mid-size sports sedan which offers enhanced driveability and functionality while achieving a design required for a flagship model with a quality feel.



 

 Its styling fused with functionality such as roominess and visibility embodies the design direction proposed by the "Legacy Concept" at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show."
From the single darkened picture offered by Subaru, we see that the 2015 Legacy appears to be somewhat closer to the concept in design than other studies have in the past, with the production car gaining a taller (and more practical) roof- and profile window-lines, and a less stubby front end.

Concept Car- BRZ wagon called the Cross Sport Concept

Subaru soft-debuted a world-premier car here in Tokyo, and the rollout was so quiet we had to corner execs to find the scoop. Turns out, it's probably the coolest damn-near-ready for production car of the entire event. It's a thinly disguised BRZ wagon called the Cross Sport Concept. Ignore the silly name for a second. Underneath the slick wagon bodywork, this concept is all-BRZ everything. That means, most likely, rear-wheel drive and the familiar 2.0-liter flat-four engine.


Yoshio Hirakawa, corporate senior vice president, explained that the concept is a mere two inches
longer than the stock BRZ, for more usable rear legroom. But the real story is the excellent hatchback layout, an obvious Subaru strength. In concept form, a double liftgate/tailgate provides excellent utility (think of track days, when you could either chill on the tailgate or use it as a toolbench), and a completely fold-flat rear seat and front-passenger seat that collapses flat would ease big-box store runs.

 The concept looks fully baked, even if we likely won't get the gorgeous suede interior and wood-clad hatch area/liftgate. Other show-only goodies, we'd guess, are STi brakes and chromed stereoscope forward-collision safety cameras (they look like missile launchers here, but in production they're sure to get toned down).

 
Production? There wasn't a single peep from Hirakawa-san about future plans, but it's an absolutely obvious line extension for Subaru, since a BRZ coupe/hatch would fulfill not only a practical niche, but an enthusiast dream as well.

Subaru to Exhibit at "Eco-Products 2013" in Tokyo - XV HYBRID, LEVORG PROTOTYPE

Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd., the maker of Subaru automobiles, today announced that the company will participate in "Eco-Products 2013", one of the largest environmental exhibitions in Japan to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from December 12 through 14.

Under its exhibition theme "Eco-cars can be more fun, more eco-friendly with Subaru", the Subaru booth will showcase Subaru's environmental efforts and technologies through live presentations, along with displays of the "SUBARU XV HYBRID", its first hybrid model released in June and the "LEVORG" sports tourer prototype premiered at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013.

At the "Eco-car test ride experience" section, visitors can test-ride the SUBARU XV HYBRID model on the backseat.
